About

We're the people who build software the way the trades build everything else — carefully, honestly, and to last.

Why we build for trade unions.

We started Solidare because we kept seeing the same thing: halls running on spreadsheets, paper sign-in sheets, and software that didn't fit the job. The people keeping the local moving deserved better than a system built for some other industry.

[PLACEHOLDER — insert your founding story, origin, or the moment that led you to this work. Keep it honest and specific when you fill it in.]

Every local runs different. That's not a problem to solve — it's the whole point. We don't walk in with a product to sell. We walk in with a notebook, ask a lot of questions, and build something that matches the hall.

Why we stay

Software isn't a one-and-done job.

Same people.

You don't get handed off to a call center. The people who build it are the people who answer when something goes wrong.

Same number.

Years from now, you can still call the same number. We don't disappear after launch. We're in it for the long haul.

Same commitment.

When leadership turns over, when the contract changes, when the state asks for a new report — we're still there.

What we believe

The values behind the work.

We stand with workers.

We only build for unions and worker-led organizations. Their interests are our interests. If it doesn't help the membership, we don't build it.

Clients own their data.

Your member information is yours. The software is yours. We put that in writing and we mean it. You can walk away with everything at any time.

No jargon, no theater.

If we can't explain what we built to a new apprentice in plain English, we built it wrong. No buzzwords, no deck culture, no pretending.

Build small, build steady.

We ship something useful fast, then keep improving it. Big-bang rollouts break halls. Slow and steady keeps the work moving.

Twenty minutes. No pitch deck. Just a straight conversation.

Tell us how your local runs. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help — and if we can't, we'll point you somewhere that can.
